Where does the original copy go on the Tracer?

The art is placed underneath the projector. The projector has a 5 x 5 inch opening that sits on top of the art.

Focusing an Artograph opaque projector, like the TRACER or EZ TRACER, and sizing the projected image is done by moving the lens in and out and by moving the projector away from or toward your projection surface (canvas, paper, wall, etc.).

Steps to Focus Projector

1. Position projector 1 1/2 to 2 feet in front of tracing surface.
2. Pull lens out of projector to maximum extension.
3. Turn lights in room off.
4. Move projector away from tracing surface until a clear image is obtained.
5. For greater enlargement, move projector away from your surface while pulling the lens further into projector.
